Brazoswood pitcher Brandon Bergen was voted the "Player of the Year" on the Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Writers Association’s Class 5A All-State baseball team. He was 15-0 on the mound with a 1.66 earned run average. The senior had 148 strikeouts in 105.3 innings.
